What our customers say about our solutions

"All our land is our own, so we know our fields well. But even then, the sensor adds that extra value. You often think it's drier than it really is - the sensor clearly showed that there was still enough moisture. Without the sensor, we definitely would have irrigated too early."

Hans Haasken

"The biggest benefit comes when you realize you don't have to irrigate - these sensors pay for themselves with just one round saved. We used to irrigate too often, based on gut feeling. Now we can clearly justify when it's really necessary. The data matches what you see in the field - you drill a hole, put the sensor in and it works."

Sven Hoogland
Loonbedrijf Hoogland Vof
"Without the Agurotech sensor, we would have irrigated twice as often and used more water than necessary. It's a practical tool - it helps us see if irrigation is really necessary or if we can wait another day. That's often where the savings come from."

At our company, we strive to achieve maximum yield with minimal input. Agurotech’s solution supports us in this by providing clear insight into the soil’s water supply and indicating exactly what actions are needed and when, to keep our crops growing optimally. The sensors are easy to install and provide real-time measurements throughout the growing season, allowing me to make the right decisions at the right time for the best results.

Agurotech’s solution provides clear and real-time insight into the moisture content on different plots. You can view all measurements from the app and you no longer have to physically check plots continuously, saving time and effort. It gives a nice insight into what is happening in the soil. At the end of the season, for example when tulips are ripening, it’s nice to see how much moisture is still in the soil and whether the crop is still absorbing moisture. This allows you to make a reasonable estimate of whether the crop is too wet or too dry so that you can make adjustments in time to prevent problems, such as fusarium, but also to generate sufficient bulb growth. In this way you can ensure in real time that your crops remain vital and healthy until the end of the season and problems in the shed are a bit more manageable.

Using technology from Agurotech by ‘measuring is knowing’ and responding to it in a timely manner gives me a better grip on the growing conditions in the soil and moisture requirements of my crops.

"One skipped irrigation or spray round and the sensor has already paid for itself. We cultivate so many acres that good planning is essential. With the weather forecast included, you can think ahead and decide which fields have priority - that saves a lot of stress. I have bought five more in recent years and that says it all."

Almar de Bont

"Since I've been using the sensors, the crop quality is much more consistent - they pay for themselves within one season. I used to irrigate on a set schedule, but now I know exactly which field really needs water - and you can clearly see the difference in the quality."

Karsjan van Kempen
CJP van Kempen
"Before, it was a matter of guesswork. Now I know exactly which fields are wet and which are dry - and that is reflected in the quality of the fruit. I expected a normal yield, but it ended up being about 37% higher, mainly because the sensors helped me water at the right time."

"It's a joy to have all your plots in the app and constantly check how things are going. The sensors showed that some fields didn't need irrigation - without the sensors I would have sprayed them anyway."
